Good evening Glenn Marlow parents and students, this is John Hart with your Marlow Monday message on this Monday, December 18th. In this week’s Marlow Moments of the Week, Ms. Alexander and Ms. Taddei’s class enjoyed a trip up to the Grove Park Inn to see the Gingerbread houses, and it was Christmas sparkle all around Marlow on Wednesday. Our third graders participated in Grinch Day on Friday — students rotated among the classes and did activities such as Grinch Math, Drawing the Grinch, STEM activities and Grinch Scoot. They all wore our pajamas and enjoyed a Grinch snack in the afternoon while watching “The Grinch” movie. Each child was also able to choose a free book to take home. What fun!
On Thursday, we had a great crowd here for our Christmas cafeteria lunch – another outstanding job by Robin Bryans and the cafeteria crew, and our staff finished off the week with a special lunch as parents took over lunch duties. It was an amazing week at GMES, and now, here is this week’s news and upcoming events:
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 19th, Moe’s Southwest Grill, located on Airport Road, will be hosting Glenn Marlow Spirit Night! Any and all patrons that visit Moe’s that day will have a percentage of their total bill go back to GMES! Remember, that day is a noon dismissal for the Holiday Break, so get to Moe’s for lunch or dinner, and support our amazing school!!
Just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19th, will be a noon dismissal for students, as we break for the Holidays. There will be no PSPM that day. Due to the Holiday break, there will be no Monday message on Dec. 25th and Jan. 1st. From all of us here at Glenn Marlow Elementary School, we hope that you and your family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
We hope to see you all tonight on the Marlow Staff Caroling trail!!!
Thank you for all that you do, and have a great week.
