Marlow Monday Message, August 28th, 2017

Good evening Glenn Marlow parents and students, this is John Hart with your Marlow Monday message.  Wow, what a great first day we had today at Glenn Marlow!!  We hope all of you had a great day as well, as we look forward to many more to come this year!!  A few reminders:

  1. School begins each day at 8:00.The doors open at 7:30, so if you are a car rider in the morning, please make sure you arrive on time. I understand that traffic can get backed up on Butler Bridge, so please take that into account when bringing your child to school. Also, we are always looking for parents and volunteers to help us in the morning opening car riders doors. The more help we have, the smoother our drop-off line will run. Once again, our tardy bell rings at 8:00.PARENTS – IF YOUR CHILD IS TARDY, YOU MUST ACCOMPANY THEM INSIDE TO SIGN THEM IN.PLEASE DO NOT DROP THEM OFF UNATTENDED.
  2. Our school day ends at 3:00. Again, if you picking your child up in the afternoon please make sure that you have a car rider card for the 2017-18 school year. Cars with no rider cards will be asked to go inside and sign their child out. You must be on the sign out sheet to be issued an orange car rider card.
  3. It is very important for all students to have their emergency contact sheet up to date and on file here at school. Please take a moment to review that green sheet, if you have not done so already, and return it to school as soon as possible. Please remember that only persons listed on the green sheet may check out students during the day.
  4. Attention all Kindergarten parents, as well as parents new to Glenn Marlow: Our Marlow PTO will be having its annual BooHoo/WooHoo Breakfast this Wednesday, Aug. 31st beginning at 8:15 in cafeteria. After dropping off your child, please sign in at the front office, and head down to cafeteria to meet other parents, and learn more about our school, and how you can get involved.  We hope to see you all there.

Thank you for all you do to make Glenn Marlow a special to learn and grow.

Have a great week.
