#GoOpenNC Resources Available to North Carolina Educators

The federal #GoOpen initiative, supported by the U.S. Department of Education, is increasing the ability of educators to find high-quality, curated resources to impact student learning in their classrooms. Open Educational Resources (OER) are free resources which are licensed in a way that allows for open access and use. #GoOpenNC is a new website that provides a marrying of these two concepts.

On the #GoOpenNC website, teachers will find a database of resources searchable by key word, subject, grade level and N.C. standards. A list of Featured Topics is available with collections grouped by subject area themes and assessments. Check out these Collections by digital librarians, the Textbook Materials Section with courses and open textbooks, and STEM Literacy resources.

Login to the #GoOpenNC site with your NCEdCloud Account to save useful tools, share them on social media or share directly to Google Classroom. Sign in to the system today to explore these free resources and share some of your own tools with your fellow educators.
